We had such a magical time at the Enchanted Forest in Salem, Oregon. We usually spend birthdays on the coast, but my mom suggested the Enchanted Forest since we went when we were children, as did she. I had wonderful memories of the park from when I was a kid and hoped for the same for my girls… and it was a success! They made a birthday pin for my birthday girl to wear and every employee that passed by us or helped them onto rides acknowledged it was her birthday and asked if she was having a good time. She got the fairytale that her sweet little heart desired, and that made my mama heart full. We will be back many more times, I am sure.

Welcome to The Sleeping Willow
Here you will find pieces of my life and every day happenings. I am a mother of two beautiful girls and an incredibly cute bonus son. I am a wife to my best friend. I am a seamstress, a knitter, a home decorator, a baker, and a follower of Jesus Christ. A day doesn't pass here on the farm that I do not thank God for the beauty in these Oregon hills. I am a lover to painted sunsets, frothy lattes, clothing design, photography, preserving childhood, flea market finds, glowing sunrises, the ocean & sandy feet, crisp morning air, tall wheat fields, thrift shopping, and the smell of wood heat in the winter. I collect quilts and antique farm finds for my country home and I love to can jams and fruit butters. I am incredibly blessed to be able to stay home with my children each and every day and create items for newborn and child photographers in the middle of our daily chaos. You can visit my shop here :) Thank you for visiting!
